Manchester United's beloved Marcus Rashford leaves for Aston Villa
Despite joining the academy at age 7 and joining first team football at age 18, now a 27, Marcus Rashford parts ways with his boyhood club
With a surge of problems and issues always surrounding Manchester United, one player stood on a pedestal than the rest. Marcus Rashford, there is no underestimating how much this player meant to the fans. Rashford, I think had everything you like about a football, he was critical in big games, gave you everything until the final whistle, and always stuck behind Manchester United being a young academy prospect that was given the opportunity by the club
Marcus Rashford completed a loan move to Aston Villa, premier league opponents. Football fans are excited to see how Marcus Rashford will perform compared to his lackluster seasons spent at United. Were those lackluster seasons a result of poor training and mediocracy, or incompetent coaching? I think many are excited to add more fury to this Manchester United Issue, coaching, players, all of it.
One player that might have a comment about Marcus's move would be his international teammate and former club teammate, Jadon Sancho. After Rashford's first post on social media featuring him playing in a 2-1 win against Tottenham for Aston Villa, Jadon Sancho commented "freedom". A nod from Sancho expressing that the problem was not Marcus Rashford, but tactical suppression under existing management. This was a unexpected comment from Sancho, as he is still a Manchester United player on loan at Chelsea.
While others might think that Marcus is ditching his boyhood club, others see a player trying to regain the prowess he once had.
